How do I save a Twitter GIF on iPhone?
Open downloadx.app in Safari, paste the link and tap Download. The file goes to the Files app → Downloads. Open it and tap Share → “Save Video” (MP4) or “Save Image” (GIF) to add it to Photos.
Why does the GIF look less sharp than the MP4?
The GIF format is limited to 256 colors per frame and becomes very heavy at high resolution, so we resize it for sharing. Choose MP4 when you need the original quality.
